Saturday and Sunday beginning September 7
Stained Glass Watercolor Resist Painting
Facilitated by Artist-in-Residence Roxana Romero-Vega
10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Create a painting using a watercolor technique with bold, dark oil pastel lines that mimic leaded divisions found in traditional stained glass windows. Draw an image using resist material from oil pastels that prevent the watercolors from spreading. Apply watercolors in the empty spaces, creating a mosaic of bright, jewel-toned sections. You’ll be amazed at the process and the outcome!
