Araceli Mireya Holmes

Araceli Mireya Holmes is a multimedia artist and Altar maker from San Jose, California. She graduated with her BA in Art/Photography from the University of Oregon in 2022. She was a featured artist for the EASTSide Magazine by Kooltura Marketing. She also has art displayed in The Art of the African Diaspora 2024 and 2025 Catalogs at The Richmond Art Center.
Araceli enjoys using collage and painting to accompany her photography. Themes include memories, history, interrogation of culture, connection with fellow artists, admiration of inspirational figures, visiting with family friends, colleagues, and strangers.
