Join us for a show and tell about Ichiro, the beautiful dinosaur sculpture currently residing in front of the Museum and departing November 1! Join Children’s Discovery Museum and the artist Marianela Fuentes for a question and answer session featuring videos and photos of her very colorful and life size dinosaur sculpture! At the end, you can join us for an art activity inspired by Ichiro’s head and beautiful beadwork and learn where you can find more dinosaur inspired activities created by Museum educators.

We’re taking our annual Diwali: Festival of Lights celebration online this year! Join us for a lively line-up of performances, art, stories, and crafts. Listen and be inspired by dhol drums, learn how to make a diya lamp at home, create a mehendi design on paper, see dances ranging from classical Indian style to Bollywood, and then join in for a dance party!

Public opening: Friday, March 5 Bill’s Backyard opens to the general public with two play sessions with limited capacity.

Bill’s Backyard is open to the general public, with two play sessions each day. The Museum is following the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the Santa Clara County Public Health Department, the State of California, and the CDC to ensure the safety and health of our employees and visitors.
