Alex started building dominoes in late 2011 after watching other domino builders on YouTube, and created his own channel, Flashdomino, in early 2012 which now has over 1,000 subscribers.
In addition to his personal projects, Alex started a domino building club at Leland high school and has been a guest builder at local museums and libraries, including Mitchell Park Library, Michigan Science Center, and Palo Alto Children’s Library.
REATICA is sponsored by Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose.
Alex has collaborated with many different YouTubers (domino builders and non-domino builders alike) and hopes the art of domino building will soon gain a wider audience that can understand the amount of work and preciseness put into creating a domino project.
Alex’s nontraditional building style is edgy, diverse, and unpredictable. Alex is skilled at freehanding and typically does not rely on intricate plans for his projects.
