MC Carlos Yustis

carlos yustisCarlos began his on-air career at Telemundo 40 in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas, where he served as the weekday sports anchor from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, he was a producer for Telemundo Network in Miami from 2010 to 2016. During this time, he contributed to major events like the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games, where he also worked as a reporter.

An accomplished sideline reporter, Carlos has covered prestigious international tournaments, including the FIFA Men’s World Cups in Russia (2018) and Qatar (2022), the FIFA Women’s World Cup in France (2019), and the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympics. In 2023, he served as one of the main hosts for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. Carlos has also reported for Sunday Night Football, delivering compelling coverage of key matchups.

Carlos is Telemundo Network’s leading English-language analyst for Chivas and has lent his voice as a play-by-play announcer and analyst for several FIFA tournaments, including the U-17, U-20, and Beach Soccer World Cups, as well as the FIFA Women’s and Futsal World Cups. His work has also extended to the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers.

Carlos’ passion for sports began early when he played semi-professional soccer with a top-ranking team in Mexico. After moving to the United States, he shifted his focus to academics while dedicating nearly 12 years to coaching middle and high school soccer, sharing his love for the sport with young athletes.

In addition to his on-field and on-air accomplishments, Carlos recently earned a Master’s degree in Football Coaching and Methodology from Real Madrid, further solidifying his expertise in the sport he loves.
