What the Residency Offers Artists
- 17- to 18-week residencies, $1500-$1875 a month, for hands-on art activities at the Museum during weekends and the additional artist responsibilities (see below).
- Opportunities for the artist to display their artwork in the museum’s Art Gallery
- Assets from our marketing team, including: photos and a spotlight video about the artist and their creative work, promotion on our social media platforms for the artist and their creative work, and online dissemination through our Virtual Purple Museum.
- Opportunities to engage with the greater Bay Area community and beyond!

Projected 2024-25 Residency Timeline:
Fall/Winter Artist-in-Residence: October 5, 2024 – January 26, 2025 (17 weeks)
Winter/Spring Artist-in-Residence: February 1, 2025 – June 1, 2025 (18 weeks)
Summer Artist-in-Residence: June 7, 2025 – September 28, 2025 (17 weeks)
